Hey, babes! This past weekend, I went to the mall with the sole intention to buy stuff from the Victoria's Secret/Bath & Body Works Semi-Annual Sale. I was more excited to go into VS because B&BW always have sales and I have too many stuff from there anyway lol.

Onto the actual post then~ First off Victoria's Secret!

• My most exciting find is the PINK Ultimate Extreme Crop Leggings in Grey, which I got on sale for $29! I am super excited to wear them out, they're super comfortable and flatering. These are my first PINK/VS leggings and I am so here for them! I'm planning to wear them to the airport when I go traveling in July. 
• Keeping with the theme of PINK, the next item is the PINK Coconut Mango Body Mist which I got for $5! I couldn't find it on their official website, so the link is from Amazon and apparently people really do love this because there's only 2 left and it's sold for $20. So, I would recommend to try and find it in store if you can! The comment in Amazon says it's discontinued but I had no problem finding it in store. Anyway, I haven't worn this yet but I'm super excited to because it's smells amazing, subtle and not all overpowering. It's perfect for the summer, definitely! 
• The last thing from VS pictured above,  is the Victoria's Secret Aqua Kiss Splash Fragrance Mist which I got on sale for $4.50! It says that it's a new formula that you can blend and mix up for a custom scent. The fragrance notes are Rain-Kissed Freesia and Daisy. I definitely think that this blends nicelyinto the skin and they last a surprisingly long time for a mist. It smells super fresh and clean, it's a definite favorite. 
• The actual last thing that I got which isn't in the picture because I wasn't sure you guys would be interested in, is this Demi Bra which I got for $20. It was super hard to find one my size in the store, but a miracle happened and I found this one! AH! It's my first ever Victoria's Secret bra and I feel like my eyes have been opened to the wonders of how comfortable VS bras actually are. I've been told before that VS don't carry a lot of bigger sizes and that the employs shame you for it, but my experience was an entirely different one! If you are a bigger sized bra wearer and you're wary of going into your local Victoria's Secret store, just try it. You've got nothing to lose! 

Wow, went one a bit of a rant there! Anyway, here's what I got from Bath & Body Works:

•  First up is the Waikiki Beach Coconut White Sand Body Scrub which is on sale for $8.29! They say that the White Sand gently exfoliates while nourishing Coconut Oil & Vitamin E conditions your skin leaving it smooth. The top notes of the fragrance are Beach Coconut, Oahu Dragonfruit, Saltwater Breeze and Coral Berry. I absolutely love this! I think it's perfect to put on your legs right after a shave, leaving them delightfully smooth! The only other B&BW scrub I had was a Christmas scented one so this was the perfect opportunity to purchase a summer one!
• The last item is the Caribbean Escape Candle which I got for $10. This is another item I couldn't locate on the website, but found on Amazon. I think this is an old fragrance that they brought back for a limited time with new packaging which would explain why mine looks diferent. Like I said for the PINK body mist, try to find this in local store if you have one close by because I didn't have a problem locating it there. Anyway, the scent is described as a blend of tropical melon and tart raspberry nectar mellowed by creamy coconut milk. It smells so amazingly divine, it has the right amount of strenght as well like you could smell it in a big room but it doesn't give you a headache if you light it in a smaller one. It's just perfect. I would highly recommend it if you like fresh, fruity, summer-y smells.

 Hey guys! A few days ago I got my very first ipsy bag and I'm so excited to show you guys what I got! I'm super pleased and satisfied with all of these makeup products I got! So, yay!!

If you didn't know Ipsy is a subscription service where you get a few makeup items every month, mostly delux samples or mini versions of a full item or sometimes even full products! You get all of this for $10 including shipping. You get to answer some questions in a quiz so they know what you prefer and what you want to get in your bag! So, that's a bit of a summary of what Ipsy is so let's go to what I got~

•  ModelCo LipLacquer Lip Gloss in Morocco which I really liked the shade but sadly, it was a bit too sticky for my tastes. The full sized product costs $24. I'll probably use it again but maybe not! 
• The Balm Cosmetics Mr.Write (Now) Eyeliner Pencil in Scott B. Bordeaux which in all honesty I haven't tried (because I have other products to test out) but I definitely will soon! I really love the shade so I'm really excited to do so! This is a full sized product and it retails for $17.00!
• It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Anti-Aging Concelear in Neutral Medium. I've heard about this product, of course, and I was very intrigued by it! It has a really specific way set of intructions to how exactly to put it on which I realized after trying it for the second time and haven't put it on since then, but I'm keeping it in mind for next time. It's pretty thick and a little difficult to blend completely but it lasts a pretty long time from what I've tested! This is a delux sample and the full product retails for $24.
• Cake Beauty Heavy Cream Intensive Hand Repair Balm which I haven't tested yet oops! I wasn't actually very excited when I saw this in the bag but it smells really good and the reviews all seem amazing so I'm pretty excited to try it now! This is a mini version and the full product retails for $22. 
• Josie Maran Cosmetics Argan Enlightenment Illuminatizing Wand which is the ultimate star from my ipsy february bag! I was freaking out so much when I saw this because back when I was searching through highlighters on sephora a few months ago, this one was the one I wanted to buy! Such a coincidence omg! It takes a while to completely blend out but I really liked it! I don't know if I was biased or not so I'll try to be more neutral next time lol! This is a mini size and the full product retails for $28!

 Just in case you don't follow me on twitter, snapchat or are friends with me in real life, you probably didn't know that my birthday was last week. I turned 19!!! Yay!! lol! Of course, I had to show you guys what I got and what I did! Duh~ (Btw, not all of the gifts will be in the photos!)
First off, my mom got me some early birthday presents in the form of a gorgeous pink Guess wallet with rose gold details, the Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit (which is just heart-eyes worthy!), this GORGEOUS Mac lipstick in the shade 'A Sprinkle of Magic' (isn't that the most perfect name?!) and Rey from Star Wars: TFA funkopop figure, plus the Batgirl Dorbz figure! I was absolutely in love with all of these right away!

On the actual birthday day (a.k.a. february 11th for future reference), I woke up to some beautiful gifts from my family! Inside this gift bag was the most coveted Naked3 Palette by Urban Decay, the Wonder Woman Movie/Blueray/Comic combo (which is one of my fave movies ever!) & some gold earrings!

It's pretty obvious that I was super excited about my makeup gifts because I used them right away for class that same day! Speaking of, one of my best friends gifted me this pretty Bath & Body Works Japanese Cherry Blossoms kit! Overall, I had a pretty good birthday day!


The next day was the real celebration, though! I headed to a semi-classy/gourmet pizza place with some of my very best friends! The gifts I got from these lovely people were the notebook with my favorite quote "Be the change you wish to see in the world", the women swimsuit sports illustrated calendar (wich i love and laughed my ass off when i received it!) and another Rey funkpop figure (which i felt super guilty of! omg! I'M SORRY GABRIELA!).

After the pizza place, the party started! lol! We went to a bunch of different bars across town and I fell in love with an $8 passion fruit mojito. We got drunk tipsy and listened to Carly Rae Jepsen at full blast! lol! (btw the legal age for alcohol here is 18, chill)

So, what else? Oh yeah, I got a cute bracelet from one of my best uni friends which I love! And I got my sephora birthday present which is a Mini Marc Jacobs Lipstick + Eyeliner (I'm very impressed with the lipstick omg!)

 Next we have the blush that stole my heart; I absolutely adore the presentation and the packaging and the color -- just everything! It's the Milani Rose Powder Blush in Coral Cove! I don't think I have a bad thing to say about this blush; it blends easily, it goes perfectly with my skin tone, it lasts all day long and even though it's a powder it's super soft to the touch!

Keeping the theme of the face, I decided to pick up a transparent face powder which is the Milani Prep + Set + Go! I haven't tested this out fully yet because I always forget to put it on in my hurry! lol! Next is two things I've been wanting to try out and it's the Wet n' Wild Coverall Correcting Palette and the Nyx Liquid Illuminator in 01 Sunbeam. When it comes with the correcting palette, I think it works very well considering what you pay for, I was very impressed with it. As for the liquid highlighter from Nyx... I guess I expected more? It creases if I put any in the area under my eyes, but it works fine for the cheekbones. The search for the perfect highlighter continues~

I have a thing for shadow pens, I just find them so convinient and easy to apply for when you're in a hurry so when I heard that Maybelline was coming out with some shadow pens with the same formula as they're Color Tattoo pots, I was beyond excited! So, I picked up the 745 Gold Rush and 705 Pink Parfait shades. After trying these numerous times, both on their own and with some other shadows, I was super impressed with the quality of them! They're soft, have amazing pigment, lasts a very long time without creasing or fading and by far the easiest to blend shadow pens I've come across! I don't know if they're better or worse than the Color Tattoo pots because I haven't tried those to compare. But if you haven't picked these up, you definitely should omg! They don't have that many shade options but I hope that'll change soon; I know I want all the other shades~

And because I am a sucker for shadow pens, I came across this Wet n' Wild cream shadow pen and as soon as I saw the color, I knew I needed to have it. The shade is called 133 Techno and it's this mettalic purple with blue sparks and I've never seen anything like it before, I was so mesmerized by it that I just had to try it!
Of course, you all knew this was coming. I have a weakness for lip products, I can't help it! Everyone's been raving about the Nyx liquid matte lipsticks in the blogging world that I just had to try it out for myself. I chose the shade 05 Antwerp and I was suprised by the color, I expected it to look like the packaging (or how it's described which is 'coral') but it's actually more fushia and bright, which I don't mind, I just didn't expect. The only thing I have to complain about this product is the smell... It doesn't bother me as much as the maybelline ones do but I can still notice it. It smells like plastic or paint? I can't really place it but it's something like that. Plus, the fact that it breaks away in chunks is a bit annoying. It stays on longer than normal lipsticks do but yeah, that's it. I was really surprised by how soft and non-drying it is and how you can't tell you have anything on your lips at all!

Last but definitely not least is another Milani product but this time it's the Color Statement Lipstick in Matte Innocence. I'm not sure why it's pictured so dark in the website, in reality it's a lot lighter and there's a pink undertone instead of an orange one that can be seen on the drugstore website. I haven't tested this one long enough to tell you guys something concrete but I really love how delicate it looks and how lovely the packaging is (of course). I'll probably layer this with either another color or some lipgloss because on its own, it is a bit too light for my skin tone. But, I love it anyway!

 Merry Christmas everyone! Ah, Christmas...the time of year to eat, open gifts and family stuff. I really do love this day because I'm nosy and love to know what other people got as gifts; friends, fellow bloggers, youtubers, pretty much anyone! lol! So, I decided to share what I got today not because I'm showing off or anything but because I'm so excited I just had to share it with you guys! 
 Another thing I've been looking for since starting this blog is a good nude lisptick that actually stays on while I'm eating or drinking. I've heard nothing but positive reviews from the Satin Lipstick in Twig. I'm really excited to try this one out and find out how good it works! I'll let you guys know as soon as I do!
The next few items are from Elizabeth Arden; Mom bought this huge gift set that has so many products that I was at awe! We divided the products between the two of us and these are what she gave me: two Beautiful Color Moistuirizing Lipsticks in Iced Grape & Ultra Violet, two lipliners to go with the lipsticks in Sugared Kiss & Orchid, the Beautiful Color Lash Enhancing Mascara in Black & a 'Daylight' Eyeshadow Palette which I tried to find on their website but apparently it's only available with in the gift set but it includes the following shades: Blonde, Chocalete, Misty Teal Contour, Innocence, Classic Khaki Contour, Classic Khaki Highlighter, Cobblestone, Periwinkle & Romantic Rose.  
The last gift is this gorgeous and adorable Mini Bow Quilted Satchel in pink & black from Betsey Johnson that I've had my eyes on for a while now. I love it so much & I honestly couldn't be more excited to wear it and pair it with outfits and stuff!!

• If you guys read my drugstore wishlist you'll know just how long I've wanted the blushed nudes palette and now I finally have it! Let's just say I was extremely excited to use this! So, how does it hold up? Extremely well, actually! Most of the time, I'm pretty disappointed with some drugstore eyeshadows because they just don't have enough pigment to show up on my hispanic skin tone. But this palette is a definite exceptation, I was really impressed by this and how well they last throughout the day. This palette also has some amazing color choices that go very well together. I'm just so in love with this, it's insane, alright? It's insane.

don't ask me why i did it like this. i suck. i'm learning, i'm sorry.

• Next up is The Volum' Express Mega Plush Deep Velvets Mascara! Now, I wasn't sure if this was still in stores because I haven't seen this recently and I bought it as a bargain in TJ Maxx. But anyway, the weird thing you'll see about this mascara is that it's purple, your lashes won't look purple unless you really put a lot on. I really fell in love with this mascara because it's true that there are no clumps at all! It gives you a very natural finished look while also give you the long lashes you deserve! It really does work and I hope you're able to find it somewhere online so you can own it!

•  The last product I bought is... drumroll please... Color Sensational Matte Lipstick in 680 Mesmerizing Magenta! Now, when I bought this lipstick I thought the color was darker than what it actually was. So, I was looking for a more purplely/wine color and I ended up with a fucsia color. I was a little bit disappointed but I ended up really loving it. This lipstick lasts so long, I'm not even joking, it does. Since I started college, I've been looking for a lipcolor that looks good on me AND lasts through drinking water bottles... and this is the one! It's amazing, I'm teling you. I do have to say this though... it does smell very strongly, so if you're very senstive in that area I would tell you to skip this one.

1. Eye Pencil in 932 Bronze Shimmer - This also says it can be used for eyebrow pencil but I think it's waaaay to glittery for that, unless you want shimmery eyebrows then it's perfect. As an eyeliner though, it's good. It's a pencil which I don't normally use as eyeliner but it wasn't hard to glide and I think it looks pretty good under the eyes. Like I said, it's really glittery so if that's not your style then don't buy it lol, because it's super glittery.
2.  Lip Liner Pencil in 827 Never - I haven't used this one yet because lip liners are a new thing for me and also, I don't really wear lipsticks during school. I really like the color though and I think it could work as an eyeliner too, it slides very well and it's really smooth, more so than the eye pencil. 
3. Eye Shadow in 09 Deep Bronze - This eyeshadow isn't very pigmented, at least not with my skin tone, it took several swatches for it to look like it does in the picture above. So, in the eyes it's basically the same thing, it takes several times for it to look like anything.
4. Eye Shadow in 107 Vanilla Sky - I absolutely adore this eyeshadow! Like omg amazing, it looks so lovely, I just adore it. There's nothing to say here; it's pigmented, it's creamy, it's just lovely!
5. Black Label Lipstick in 191 Bling - I really love this lipstick, I have yet to use it but I'm actually thinking of using it next because it really impressed me when I swatched it. It's extremely creamy, more so than I expected and the color is kind of a fushia. It's really pretty though! So yeah, good!
6. Glam Lipstick Aqua Luxe in 10 Divine - This color is a lot like the Black Label Lipstick, only it has more glitter to it. Also, this is a bit rougher than the Black Label, it's not as creamy and you notice it from how it looks. I would try it but honestly, I'm not very convinced. I completely prefer the Black Label. 
7. Love in Rio Palette in 10 Escape with Rio - I haven't used these eyeshadows yet but I actually really want to try it because the colors look really good together and I think they would make a complete eye look on its own. There's one light brown, a dark brown and a glittery shade that looks like a mix of purple and brown. I tried it on my fingers and it also feels really creamy and the darker shades are more pigmented than the lighter one but again, it could just be my skin tone.
8. HD Studio Photogenic Grinding Blush in 02 Apricot - I don't really have a lot to say about this because I haven't tried it or even really opened it completely because I'm a little bit afraid of it lol. But I will because I'm also curious. So, yeah... don't have anything else to say about it.
