Hey guys, Merzy here! Christmas time is almost here!! Who else is excited to do nothing? I am! lol! But to those of you who are doing something tomorrow or later tonight, I prepared a look that is perfect for the Holidays.

I wore this look last night at a Christmas Eve Eve dinner with my friends, it was a pretty chill night and I only wore jeans with a nice top but I always love a good excuse to experiment with my makeup. So, I was browsing through pinterest (as I usually do) and I stumbled upon this pin which inspired me to try it out. It didn't turn out perfectly but I really liked the end result anyway! The point of this look is to show off the lips and brows.

I start off with the Clinique Turnaround Daytime Revitalizing Moisturizer to freshen up my face. Followed by the Sephora Bright Future Gel Serum Concealer, dabbing it under my eyes, my chin, around my eyebrows to make them stand out and around my lips so the lipstick doesn't stain. Then comes when I try to countour (and fail) using the BareMinerals The Royal Court Face Color Trio, I pretty much try all the shades but I focus more on the Clear Radiance as highlighter.

Now comes the eyes; I try to do the first step the pin tells us with the Maybelline MasterSmoky by Eyestudio in Scorching Brown and blend it in using the Dreamer and Multi-Tasker shades from the Tartelette Amazonian Clay Matte Palette. For the lid and focal point of the eyes, I use the (amazing and beloved my me) Makeup Forever Aqua Shadow Waterproof Eye Shadow Pencil in 22E. All of this topped off by the Rimmel London ScandalEyes Precision Micro Eyeliner. As for the lashes I use the Sephora Full Action Extreme Effect Mascara and then I try to get rid of the clumbs with the Maybelline Mega Plush Volume Express Mascara.

To finish it off, I focus on the center piece of the whole look; the brows & the lips. For the eyebrows I use the Maybelline Master Shape by EyeStudio in Deep Brown, I don't use very much of it because my eyebrows are pretty thick alredy, all I need to do is fill it up a bit so it looks perfect. The lips I go for my favorite lipstick recently, Rimmel London Lasting Finish Matte by Kate Moss Lipstick in 111 Kiss Of Life.

And there you go, babes~ The whole look is complete! What is your go-to holiday makeup look? Tell me down in the comments below or link me to a post where you talk about it! 1. I think my go to look is signature pink gloss/lipstick, black mascara, and optional copper eyeshadow! Some days I can get away without any tinted moisturizer/foundation/bronzer! :) Merry Christmas!

  2. You looked fab! I love the lip on you. Red suits you so well! You have the most defined lips and I'm so jealous. 😱
