Morphe Brushes 35E Palette | Review + Swatches

Hey guys! I'm so so excited to talk about the latest palette in my ever-growing collection and my very first Morphe palette. I bought this about three weeks ago or something and I've been testing it out ever since I received it. So onto the facts: This palette includes 35 metaillic & colorful shades, it's currently out of stock in beautybay and I can't find it anywhere in the actual Morphe website, but when I bought it it was on sale (from $28/$22 to $12) so maybe it's discontinued now.

I purchased this because spring is here and summer is coming very soon, I needed a colorful palette I can play around with and experiment. It says that it's meant to add a bit of a punch to your everyday makeup but I've made quite a few looks using only this palette and it's worked out amazingly so do what you want to do~

When I fist opened it, one of the first things I noticed is the smell. There's a chemically smell to it and it doesn't really go away. I'm pretty sensitive to smells and this didn't really bother me but it's something you guys need to know. These shadows blend like a dream, I was really impressed by that. Something I did notice after a whole day of wearing them in the caribbean heat is that they crease, but the colors doesn't fade away like many of my other shadows. There's super pigmented as well, which I was super happy about and there's practically no powder kick off.

All in all, I'm really surprised by this palette. It's not the healthiest of ingredients but for the price, it's more than what you could expect. Plus, they're probably the prettiest eyeshadows I own so I'd give this a 4/5 stars... one less star because of the smell.

  2. I have the 35N palette, a matte one, and at first I was a bit worried the pigmentation and staying power wouldn't be there, but I was so so shocked at how well the shadows last. Unlike you I don't have heat to contend with, so maybe that's why they perform so well... The shades in this one are to die for, though. The highlight shades are so so beautiful!!

    Lovely review!

    1. Nice! I really want to buy some more neutral palettes! To be fair, most, if not all of my shadows crease or disappear on me after a full day of sun so I wasn't bothered at all. :D thanks! xo

  4. I'm more of a neutral eyeshadow girl myself, but there are some shades in here that are super beautiful! Especially the maroons, and darker greens! xo

    1. I'm trying to be more experimental with eyeshadow. Because all the colors I'm used to using are golds and pinks lol xo
