Skin is the foundation to your look! If you want to have a good makeup day, you gotta have a good skin day. And this 2016, I've made it a mission to become better at it! To purchase products and try new things when it comes to skincare!

I used to think skincare was a lot of work and that all it was going to be wasted. I didn't have super awful skin when I was in high school but it wasn't baby smooth either. I had acne, sure, but it's been getting better now that I'm on my way to being a young adult and leaving my teenage years behind.

So, today I want to show you guys my skincare routine! I'm just starting out still so if you have any recommendation, I would love to hear some~

I start my day with the Garnier Clean+ Balancing Daily Exfoliator, which I absolutely love! It totally wakes you and ready to start a new day, plus it smells a-ma-zi-ng! I try to put this on everyday but I do get lazy and skip on it... because that's just how I am. But after I do use it, I never regret it.

If I'm wearing makeup that day, I come home from class to take it all off with the Garnier Clean+ Makeup Remover Lotion Cleanser. I bought this on whim because it was on sale and I needed a gentler solution than the whipes I used previously. I'm so glad I did! I've been eyeing the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water for a while but I wasn't so sure it worked so I deiced to buy this to try it out. It really takes off all of your makeup and your skin feels amazing aferwards.

After that, I use the E.l.f. Daily Hydration Moisturizer*! I wasn't going to talk about this here because I have yet to make a post about what cool new things I've received from e.l.f. but I love this so much I couldn't help it. I'm not going to go into too much details because I'm saving my full review for that post but what I will say is... I'm obsessed with this and it's best damn moisturizer I've ever used.

In the shower, (I shower at night, okay? it's easier than waking up at ungodly hours) I use the Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash with my Magnitone*! I've used this wash for a while now and even though my acne has definitely redused and I'm basically acne free (*knocks on wood*), my skin has never been happier than when I added Magnitone into the mix. If you didn't know already, Magnitone Barefaced is a electronic waterproofed brush that cleanses your face! You charge it up (I've used it for about almost three months now and it's still going from only two hours of charging that first time I got it), it has two levels of intensity, it makes a little noise when a minute has passed and the brushes are interchangable. The bristles of the brush are soft but I would suggest to do so slowly because otherwise it might hurt a little if you have sensitive skin. When I received this, I was a little scared because, and get ready for story time, I got something like this when I was younger but it was from clean&clear and it was when the technology was brand new. Guess what? It gave me an awful skin reaction. I hated it! And so I feared these brush face things ever since. But now, since it's been such a long time, I decided to give it a try and I'm so glad I did! It's amazing! (PLUS! Check out how beautifully packed it came in! I was definitely impressed~)

That's it for my skincare routine! What is yours? Tell me all about it in the comments below and I'll be seeing you really soon, babes!
